Welcome to
Sigma Chi Mu Tau
Zeta Chapter at Temple University
Supply Chain Honor Society

Benefits
1
National Recognition
Sigma Chi Mu Tau is the nation's leading supply chain honor society and has chapters throughout the United States and Canada. Employers and leaders in supply chain management recognize SCMT members as top achievers and future innovators in the industry. Chapters at other universities such as Penn State and University of Arkansas have built prestige for the SCMT name.
2
Research Opportunities
SCMT members will have the opportunity to participate in a semester-long research project with a top company. By participating, students will have the chance to create solutions to real-world business problems and present said solutions to company executives. This Fall 2024, SCMT will be conducting a case study with Walmart. High-performing case study teams will have a high potential of being considered for open positions within Walmart.
3
Industry Connections
Current and former Temple SCMT members have secured positions at major corporations such as Lockheed Martin, Colgate-Palmolive, IBM, Merck, and more. Professional relationships also exist within the organization to Walmart and Maersk. These connections could be a major asset in your job hunt.
4
Volunteer Opportunities
Every semester, the leadership team organizes a volunteer project to give back to the local community in a specialized manner. It is a great opportunity to showcase a different aspect of yourself on your resume.
